Our History

Square One DE, Inc. was the brain child of Shane McCarty and David Baugh. Shane deals with addiction on a daily basis as a Law Enforcement Officer. He identified a need that was not being fulfilled and reached out to his good friend David, an Intake Director at Teen Challenge to share his vision. They put their experience together, completed a business plan and within a few short months they were off and running; purchasing their first sober living home in Seaford, DE. In March of 2020 we will open our fifth recovery house. We have been blessed by several "Angel Donors" to help us achive our goals.
